Our Team
Douglas Henry, Founder and CEO
Before founding Phazemos, Douglas spent 23 years building a global career in finance, management and strategy.
Douglas began working in the clinical research industry 10 years ago. He saw that the small and medium-sized sector in the drug development industry is poorly served. So, he founded Phazemos to be the go-to platform for therapeutic development companies looking for simple, impactful solutions to their growth problems.
He holds a BA from the University of Arkansas and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Lauren Brennan, EVP Ecosystem Marketing
Lauren is a seasoned marketing executive with experience working in organizations of all sizes. She has worked across our industry developing marketing strategies for diagnostics firms, device firms, clinical research organizations and biotech companies.
Lauren holds BA in public relations and political science from the University of Maine, a masters in communications management from Simmons University and a certificate in biotechnology from the Harvard Extension School.
Vivienne Chen, VP Operations
Vivienne has spent 6 years in progress roles in management consulting, focused on product and project management, business operations, and analytics.
Prior to Phazemos, she was a Business Management Consultant at Accenture where she has developed a track record of managing fast paced, complex products and processes in the healthcare space.
She holds a BS in biology and society from Cornell University, with a concentration in population health.
Abdul Yousify, VP Ecosystem Sales
Abdul has a strong background in business development, strategy, and consulting within the biotech and pharmaceutical industries.
Prior to his role at Phazemos, Abdul was the founding member of the business development team at KLA Consulting, a boutique regulatory affairs consulting firm serving the biotech industry.
He holds a BS in biology from Virginia Commonwealth University and a business fundamentals certificate from George Mason University.
Daniel Hennigan, VP Ecosystem Solutions
Daniel has spent 6 years in corporate finance and P/E, having worked in corporate development for a CRO to expand its service capabilities and global presence.
Prior to joining Phazemos, Daniel was an investment associate with a corporate VC, leading deal flow from initial outreach to investment committee approval. This included portfolio management and partnership initiatives to connect resources within network.
He holds a BS from Bryant University in Rhode Island, with a concentration in law and psychology.
Sebastian Martinez, Ecosystem Sales Manager
Sebastian has spent the last 15 years leading business development efforts for technology start-ups, commercializing new solutions globally.
Prior to joining Phazemos, Seb managed business development for Able Innovations, successfully commercializing the company’s first medical devices, as well as playing an important role in their early-stage fundraising.
He holds a BCom from Toronto Metropolitan University with a major in entrepreneurship and a minor in professional communications.
Josh Reardon, Ecosystem Partnering Analyst
Josh is our go-to person when we need things to get done and get done right. Josh serves members across our ecosystem, bringing them together to help solve their most complex business problems. He brings a positive attitude to everything he does and is an ultra-reliable team member.
He holds a BBA from West Virginia University.
Sarah Dimayo, Ecosystem Outreach Analyst
Sarah is a tremendous asset to our ecosystem. If you need something figured out, Sarah is the person to turn to. Not only will she figure it out, she’ll make it better.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Canisius University and a masters in occupational therapy from D’Youville University.
Ariel Shann, Technology Solutions Analyst
Ariel is our resident AI expert and is responsible for engineering technology to turn all of our great ideas into something we can actually do. She elevates our game 100%
She holds a BS in computer science from National Tsing Hua University and an MS in computer science from the University of British Columbia.
Penny Luan, Data Solutions
Penny is a trained biomedical engineer with experience working in large corporations as well as startups. Penny is helping us and our ecosystem members move ahead of their competition through better use of data.
She has a bachelors degree in biomedical engineering from Imperial College London and a masters in engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
